Live Theaters and Fun Shows in Anaheim

Wednesday, November 21st, 2012

See Reindeer Games and more fun shows in Anaheim for the holidays!

There are plenty of theatrics in Anaheim, although most of them seem to be employed by a large mouse and his crew. However, if you are in the mood for something more along the lines of actual theater, visit some of the live theaters located close to your Anaheim apartments. The big mouse won’t mind. Really. He might even be a little jealous.

Take a chance on Chance Theater, located about 2 miles from home. Some of the upcoming shows include “Little Women: The Broadway Musical”, “The Eight: Reindeer Monologues” and more. Located at 5552 East La Palma Avenue, give them a call at 714-777-3033 to find out more or to purchase tickets.

Another local theater is Stages Theater, situated about 5 miles away. Located at 400 East Commonwealth Avenue, Suite 4 in nearby Fullerton, this place has been going strong for 20 years. Upcoming shows include “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” and “American Buffalo”. Call 714-525-4484 to find out more or get tickets.

There is plenty of good entertainment in Anaheim but some of the best entertainment is found in local places near your Anaheim apartments. Get out there and enjoy some live, local theater.

Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland

Tuesday, September 25th, 2012

Kids and families absolutely love Disney. In the United States, there are two locations for parents to let their children’s dreams come true. Everyone knows about Disney World, but some do not realize there is also a treasure in Anaheim, CA. Just minutes from The Crossing, a fantastic apartment community, is downtown Disney.

Halloween event at Disney

Celebrate Halloween with Mickey!

One of the biggest events at Disneyland each fall is Mickey’s Halloween Party. The party allows your children to trick-or-treat with healthy snacks, as well as candy, all while meeting his or her favorite characters. Parents can relax when it comes to money since they get free parking and potentially could save up to eighteen dollars per ticket. There are fireworks, food venders, and drinks available throughout the night.

Finally, after a long evening at the park, if you live at The Crossing Apartments, you do not have far to go before tucking tired, little kids into bed. If this sounds like your ideal time, then contact The Crossing to see what plans they have available for you. Your kids will undoubtedly love being less than twenty minutes from downtown Disney!

Great Ideas to Decorate Your Bedroom!

Tuesday, May 29th, 2012
bedroom

Great bedroom decor tips!

When it comes to decorating your Crossing Anaheim apartment, it can be hard to figure out exactly what you want to do with all of your rooms. One of the hardest places to decorate is the bedroom! You don’t want it to be dull and boring, so it is important to add special touches that give the room a feel that you are going to love! Here are some great tips for decorating your bedroom and making it your own, courtesy of Free Home Decorating Ideas.

  • The furniture should be arranged so that you can walk around the room easily. Having to climb over your partner to get into bed or perform “gymnastics” to avoid stubbing your toe is not very pleasant. Your bedroom should be peaceful and soothing.
  • A good idea in bedroom decorating is to choose peaceful and relaxing artwork. Again, everything should promote rest and relaxation.
  • Choose subtle lighting, peaceful colors, and comfortable furnishings—these encourage a more tranquil and relaxing atmosphere.
  • Your bedroom should be free from clutter. You simply cannot get a good night’s sleep if you are surrounded by chaos like dirty laundry, children’s toys, work papers, or exercise equipment.
